If thaumium is not an option it can be replaced by paper for mod space fitting an extra autorepair or a cheap high durability material. Body: Thaumium is ideal for medium durability and added modifier that sadly can't really be stacked. I'd personally recommend paper or whatever carries a writable mod in your pack. Binding: The material won't interfere with durability so use paper or obsidian here for either a modifier or reinforced. If you by any chance choose a metal bow that has high drawtime an enchanted string may serve you heretic better in this place. String: This is gonna be kinda paradox but here you want to get the extra arrowspeed from Firery String (those nether spider drops) as it can't be modded for and the draw penality is neglegible on your already low drawtime as it is multiplicative. Try the following ideas: Bow(limb): Drawtime>Arrowspeed You want to cap the drawspeed while maintaining a decent arrow speed so high end metals like cobalt or manyl with abyssal drawtimes are superflous.
